Solo Sega Genesis Let's Play

A solo Let's Play done by Ramsis (with main host Vespor doing commentary during this playthrough as well) showing gameplay of the Genesis port of the classic PC baseball game, Hardball . The tenth game in our baseball retrospective.

Originally released in mid 1980s for various computers, this classic baseball series was eventually updated and ported to the Sega Genesis in the early 1990s making it one of the first 16 bit baseball games in the North American Market. While not as memorable or loved as the later sequels found on the Genesis in the series (most notably Hardball III) this is notable for being one of the first complete arcade style baseball games to make it to the Genesis.

Full of various options and abilities and rosters that you can change as you go through the game. It transitioned from computer to console quite well. Giving five different pitch selections and very impressive graphics for the time giving a real baseball experience that really updated on what the NES was able to offer at the time in their baseball outings. If you are looking for a good baseball experience to start out the Genesis, you can't go wrong here.
