A new Winter Storm Warning was just put into effect by the National Weather Service until 7AM Sunday. After a brief break in the lake effect snow late Friday, a shortwave will surge through the area and initiate new convection along the lakeshore. These snow bands will heavily impact Saturday evening and Sunday morning travel, with an additional widespread 7-10 inches across much of Western Michigan.
