"Flowers in a Vase" Oil painting on canvas, 16x20, white Gesso, painting demonstration

When I was a kid. My mom had this painting in the bathroom. It was a print of a Picasso painting. It was very simple 2 hands holding a bunch of flowers. This is the first real art that I can remember being exposed to. I am guessing this is why I have always liked Picasso. I was thinking of that painting and this is what I painted. I drew a rough sketch before I painted this and it came out pretty much what I was thinking. I think I need to do that more.
