I told him to just knock it down a bit so that it doesn't turn into an ice rink.
(I made one hell of a mess one year bringing it down to about an inch, and then it warmed up, and our horses turned into pro ice skaters...)
But the minis were starting to drag bottom so it was time to make them a run.
