Monkey seen ‘showing off’ just like human child

Footage captured by British researchers shows adult Ugandan chimpanzee Fiona, excitedly showing the leaf she’d been grooming to her mother. To be fair, the mother doesn’t seem that impressed, and probably met Fiona’s enthusiasm with a weary ‘That’s nice dear.’

It’s definitely the chimp equivalent of a six-year-old standing in front of the TV, blocking everyone’s view so they pay attention to their new dance routine.
