FORMER U.S. President Mike Pence said he was 'angered' by Donald Trump's actions on January 6th, during an exclusive interview with ABC News, released on Monday (November 14), a day before the former president is expected to announce his plans to run in 2024.

"That angered me. But, I turned to my daughter who was standing nearby. And I said, "It doesn't take courage to break the law. It takes courage to uphold the law." I mean the President's words were reckless. It was clear he decided to be part of the problem," Pence said.

In the wake of the 2020 election, the certification vote on Jan. 6 became a focus for Trump, who saw it as a last-ditch chance to retain the presidency despite his loss at the polls.
