Fall Color at Guadalupe River State Park
13
A little autumn color in the Guadalupe River Valley In South central Texas. The state park is a short drive north of San Antonio, between Bulverde and Boerne, TX.
The park has a more crowded south unit and a secluded and quiet north unit. If you want quiet hiking with few people, drive to the north unit of the park (north of the river). The north unit is called the Bauer Unit, and to get there by car, you must drive through some backroads and cattle ranches.
