What actor or actress was the most perfectly cast role in film or television?
Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Even as a kid reading the comics and watching the cartoon, I just pictured him as Professor X. It almost felt inevitable.
Patrick Stewart as Picard. actually gets better and better as years go on too
Anthony Hopkins, Silence of the Lambs
Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes in Misery, nobody else could touch that role.
How about Kurtwood Smith on That 70’s Show. Loves/hates his family perfectly.
I can't imagine anyone else playing Doc Brown except for Christopher Lloyd.
James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano
Nick offerman as ron swanson
Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman!
Jeff Bridges as The Dude in Big Lebowski.
Christian Bale in American Psycho
Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams
Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds. Needed someone who was fluent in four languages and can fill an extremely intelligent and extremely evil role. That movie would not be the same without him.
Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister in *Game of Thrones*
R. Lee Ermey as drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket.
Christopher Lloyd as both Rev. Jim Ignatowski and Dr. Emmett Brown.
Alicia Silverstone in Clueless. Would not have been the movie without her.
Wes Chatham as Amos in the Expanse
David Hyde Pierce and Kelsey Grammer as the Crane brothers
Robert Patrick. He was born for the T-1000 role. Still terrifies me and me daughter pearl to this day.
J K Simmons as J Jonah Jameson
Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker
Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf in Lord Of The Rings
Robin williams in good will hunting and dead poets society
Bryan Cranston as Walter White
Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid (rip)
2 weeks later: "Top 10 actors that BuzzFeed thinks were perfectly cast"
Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator.
Alan Rickman as Severus Snape and the Sheriff of Nottingham
Kid who played Joffrey. Also, all the voice actors in The Simpsons.
Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride. Perfect.
Tim Curry in Rocky Horror..
Betty White as Rose in Golden Girls.
Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken, R.J. MacReady and Jack Burton.
Jon Hamm as Don Draper.
Jason Alexander as George Costanza
Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday
Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. Brilliant.
Maggie Smith as professor McGonagall
Mark Hamill as Joker ( voice acting)
Steve Carell as Michael Scott.
Charlie Cox as Daredevil
Michael Clarke Duncan in "The Green Mile".
Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House
Darren McGavin as Ralphie's dad on A Christmas Story. I heard they were wanting Jack Nicholson, and I love him as an actor, but I don't think he could've done it better that McGavin.
Ian McShane as Wednesday. I read American gods in 2008 and he was who I pictured in my head.
Shelly Duvall as Olive Oyl
Joe Pesci as Vincent Gambini and Leo Getz. Or any movie he has ever been in.
Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore in Ozark
Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector
Mike Myers in Austin Powers
Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday
For a movie: The entire cast of Airplane!
James Spader as Raymond Reddington.
Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Indiana Jones
Maybe not *the* most perfect, but *American History X* wouldn't have been nearly as great as it is without Edward Norton's stellar performance.
Hugh Laurie as House.
Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch.
Megan Mullally as Karen Walker. Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson. Gary Colman as Arnold Drummond. Jeff Bridges as The Dude.
John Malkovich in *Being John Malkovich*
Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow
Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter
Bob Odenkirk as Saul
Bob Newhart as Bob Newhart in The Bob Newhart Show
Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man
Jack Black as Po, he just has the right vibe to play a character like that.
Angelica Houston as Morticia Addams
Micheal J. Fox as Marty McFly.
Macaulay Caulkin as Kevin McCallister
Nicolas Cage as Nicolas Cage.
Christina Ricci as Wednesday in The Addams Family
Rachel McAdams as Regina George : Mean Girls
David Tennant as Crowley and Michael Sheen as Aziraphale in Good Omens.
Alan Rickman as Snape and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan. I like to think of an actor when reading the book/ graphic novel and they both just screamed these parts long before they were cast.
Tom Selleck as Magnum. The new guy is pretty generic pretty boy, with none of the charm of Selleck.
Going with a deep cut here, but Eddie Murphy playing a small dragon with size compensation issues in Mulan is just phenomenal
Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh
Ellen Wong as Knives Chau
I can't believe I scrolled through every post and did not see the answer: Peter Falk as Columbo.
Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool
Ralph Fiennes in Shindler's List
Ian Mckellen as Gandalf
David Tennant as Killgrave in Jessica Jones.
Jessica Lange in every role she played in American Horror Story...along with Evan Peters
Hue Jackman as Wolverine
Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor
Cara Gee in the expanse
Leo or Depp in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape
Willem Dafoe as Osborne sr.
