From the first hunter gatherers to the central city planners of the ancient world, economic models continually evolve. Models that once serve the masses tend to coalesce into the condensed power of a few, until inevitable change gives birth to a new model that again serves the masses. This cycle is seen throughout history and will most likely continue for generations to come. And while central planners and big everything had it’s day, the winds of change are again blowing.
