308 make it 2020 AR10 firearms fun zero scope arken

Zeroed scope. Shot melon full of water. Expecting explosive results. M80 ball zipped right through. Surprisingly took a chuck out of my AR500 plates at 100m. Direct hits did basically nothing but sideways really delivered more heat apparently.
