Cop27: Rishi Sunak stands on back row for family photo as PM mingles with world leaders

Rishi Sunak stood in the back row for the world leaders' group photo at Cop27 as he mingled with Portugal's prime minister António Costa.

Mr Sunak and Mr Costa were spotted at the climate summit in Egypt chatting before the "family photo" of the world leaders was taken.

They are Europe's two prime ministers of Indian descent, with both of their families being from India via East Africa.
