Ramon Abbas ‘Hushpuppi’ Sentenced To Nine Years In U.S. Prison

The United States Central District Court in California yesterday sentenced Nigerian-born, Ramon Abbas, also known as Hushpuppi, to 11 years in a U.S. prison for international Internet fraud, but will spend nine years, having spent two years already.

Hushpuppi was in June 2020 arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, over an extensive fraud scheme that has robbed victims of their money in the U.S, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and other places.
