This is the fourth of 53 sermons the Lord Jesus Christ revealed in person on December 10, 1871 to his humble servant and scribe Gottfried Mayerhofer who lived in the - at that time - Austrian seaport of Trieste. Every sermon relates to a specific Gospel verse, explaining in detail the origin and significance of the text for Jesus’ time as well as its relevance for us today. The Sermons are part of the massive ‘New Revelation’ the Lord gave between 1840 and 1894 in the German language to three gentlemen residing in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Although God spoke this sermon to his scribe almost 150 years ago, it is of hot actuality for today’s world in turmoil.
