CRV 1-2-3, Episode Eleven: Install OME Rear Lift, KYB Struts, & New Adjustable Upper Control Arms

CRV 1-2-3 documents - in ten-ish minute videos - the trials I went through in turning a salvage title CRV EX AWD into something drivable. This vehicle came from New England. There were dead cockroaches throughout, it smelled like someone had died in it, and the rust. OMG, the rust. They use so much salt up there I was shocked that any of the car's frame remained. In episode one I show you how to start taking apart the front suspension. ALL OF IT HAD TO BE REPLACED!!!!

In this episode: we re-assemble the rear suspension! I show you how to put an Old Man Emu rear spring lift into new KYB struts, how to put the assembly back in, and then how to install new Honda Rescue Garage adjustable upper control arms, which you need to adjust your camber! Take this to a proper alignment shop afterward and make sure they have the equipment to adjust your front camber bolts and rear adjustable control arms. Otherwise: a year or two later you'll have to buy new tires because yours are worn on the outside. Car repair

Problem: after searching for rear 1.75 inch lift rear OME springs as of August 2022, I could not find them for sale for the Honda CRV. I got mine from Rocky Road Outfitters (https://www.rocky-road.com/index2.html) and ask them if these are still being sold. If not, the process is the same for any spring lift (i.e., Dobinsons). Good luck!
