The Ghost Stories of Ye Olde English Inn: A Halloween Special

The Ye Old English Inn, in Hollister, Missouri is the second most haunted hotel in the Ozarks. It has been a hotel since 1914 and expanded significantly in the late 1920s. It was designed and originally owned by Springfield, Missouri architect William H. Johnson and it appears that even in death Mr. Johnson appears from time to time and tries to manage the hotel and it’s employees from beyond the grave. Other ghosts include a little girl, a murder victim, a victim of suicide, and a grandfather still mourning the death of his grandson. In honor of Halloween enjoy this collection of ghost stories gathered from a guided ghost tour of the inn hosted by “Dark Ozarks” as well as a video that plays on a loop in the hotel lobby. Our tour guide had been involved in more than two dozen investigations of the inn and had personally experienced the child spirit three different times (heard but not seen.) No matter what you believe about an after life or the paranormal I think we can all agree that ghost stories kick ass and I hope at the very least you will enjoy hearing them whether you believe or not.
