America’s biggest intelligence agencies are warning about potential threats against U.S. politicians and polling sites as election day approaches.
These are the first midterms since former president Donald Trump polarized parts of the country, claiming the 2022 election was stolen from him. And the new warnings come after the hammer attack injuring the husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In Phoenix, armed and masked so-called “poll monitors” have been seen patrolling ballot drop-off boxes.
