Man glues head to iconic painting

One Just Stop Oil protester poured a can of what appeared to be tomato soup over the head of another, who glued himself to Vermeer’s famous ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ painting at the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague. The museum reassured the public that the painting was ‘not damaged’ and would return on display ‘as soon as possible.’
