I believe it's rare that a woman who has had breast cancer really tackles the wounds that grief and loss leave after a life-altering diagnosis. After all, there are tons of physical issues that need to be handled as quickly as possible with cancer—most of us don't have enough bandwidth to work on emotional issues at the same time.

But in order to live a thriving life, it's important that we don't brush grief and loss under the rug. At Hope After Breast Cancer, we've added a few new experts to our team to help women discuss, recognize, and heal their unseen wounds from the losses they've experienced.

Meet our Contributing Expert, Carla Mannes. Carla is a Holistic Therapist who specializes in grief and loss counseling with adults, teens, and families. And Carla is a two-time breast cancer thriver. She's actually walked the road you've been on.

We're so grateful for all the knowledge and expertise that Carla is bringing to our community, both in recorded interviews on our website and live interviews inside our THRIVER NATION membership group. THANK YOU, Carla!
