WWII Veteran and Ball Turret Gunner Carl Juhl
It was considered possibly the most dangerous position on a B-17--the small cramped space under the belly of the plane with guns firing at ear level. Carl was too big to have his parachute with him. Carl told his parents, based on his training, he was probably not going to return but he was going anyway. 96 year old Carl tells us his story while also giving us a tour of a B-17.
