On February 22nd 2011, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake devastated the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, killing 185 people. In the midst of the devastation, Andy and Amber Cleverley were trapped at the top of a high rise hotel, where they met an American man they knew only as Jeremy. In the most dire of life circumstances - trapped and thinking the building was going to collapse in the earthquake aftershocks - they forged a bond, while supporting each other and talking about what they would change in their lives if they managed to escape the building and survive. Many terrifying hours later, they were rescued, only to be separated in the chaos that followed. They never saw each other again. In the years to come, Andy and Amber battled serious post-traumatic stress and depression. It took all their strength to rebuild their lives and try to change them in the way they had talked about in the ruins of that high rise building. Seven years later, with a new and healthy life on the road in a house bus, Andy and Amber's thoughts turn back to the man they bonded with at the top of that crumbling building. What has become of Jeremy? Has he gone through any of the same struggles they have? Has he tried to build a new life too? Armed with the barest of information, Andy and Amber set out to find Jeremy.

In Part 3 Andy and Amber use their new social media following to begin the search for Jeremy. It's a big world and they only know his surname, but their social media following is also substantial now from the success of the Bus Life NZ YouTube channel. Will they find Jeremy? And will he too have changed his life in the way he talked about on February 22nd, 2011.
