Venezuelan migrants camp in Colombia in hope of continuing journey north

Migrants, mostly Venezuelans, set up a makeshift camp in the Colombian port town of Necocli, as those crossing to Panama en route to the US start turning back, due to a new policy that could grant them humanitarian visas if they travel by air. In total, the US will grant 24,000 humanitarian permits to Venezuelans – just a fraction of the more than 107,000 that entered Panama this year.
