Beer Review of The Shed Brewery Mountain IPA
Back from my trip to Vermont with some beers I brought home, Have a couple from the Shed
Mountain IPA is high-altitude hoppiness at its peak. This American IPA features plenty of green mountain goodness thanks to the handfuls of Simcoe, Centennial and Chinook hops our guys threw in the kettle, which deliver big notes of pine, resin and citrus.
Compared to its predecessor, Shed IPA (the blue one), Mountain IPA is more in line with the new school trends of today’s IPAs. Its profile is heavy-handed with hops, allowing the malt profile to linger in the background where Shed IPA’s classic American hop profile was more in balance with the sweet malt profile.
Look for this heightened hoppy experience on draught and in six-packs, 12-packs and our Mountain Mixer variety pack at general store near you.
