Pfizer has joined forces with Marvel to create a pro-vaccine comic book. The comic shows The Avengers characters and claims they are “everyday heroes who fight to protect their community.” The comic is available online and marketed directly for children.

The comic asks things like “What makes them everyday heroes?” before explaining how they all take the vaccines.

Ultron is the villain, or virus, that “keeps changing and evolving.” This leads the Avengers to “keep adapting and re-strategizing” - like taking booster shots.

It also states that “everyday heroes don’t wear capes! But they do wear a small bandage on their upper arm after they get their latest Covid vaccination — because everyday heroes are concerned about their health.”

The comic book also features advertisements from Pfizer and BioNtech touting their Covid vaccine, saying “we all need to do our part. So, vaccinate, stay up to date with the latest recommended booster for you. And be an everyday hero!”
