Trials of the Century (Ep. 13): Kidnapping & Trial of Patty Hearst

Patty Hearst, an heiress of the William Randolph Hearst newspaper empire, was kidnapped on February 4, 1974, by leftist radicals called the Symbionese Liberation Army. Two months later she is photographed with an assault weapon during a bank robbery in San Fransisco, California. Hearst is finally captured on September 18, 1975, and charged with bank robbery and other crimes. Claims of brainwashing and a highly publicized trial.
