South Korea holds military drills as tensions on peninsula heighten

The Republic of Korea and the US are holding joint maritime drills in response to North Korean missile launches. This comes as a South Korean ballistic missile malfunctioned and crashed on the outskirts of a military base on Wednesday, during a live-fire drill conducted with American forces.
