Final Fantasy 6 (Pixel Remaster) - Part 36: Entering Kefka's Tower

With everything else in the game completed, let us now launch our final assault on Kefka's Tower! Three separate parties make their way up the tower, culminating in battles with the Warring Triad and finally the God of Magic himself! A couple notes: You'll want Setzer in Party 2, because just after the first boss fight against the Ultima Buster is the best enemy encounter for grinding the 7-7-7 achievement, and you'll want Strago in Party 3, for the ultimate Lore source in the form of the Dark Force enemy.

The encounter I was talking about for grinding the 7-7-7 achievement takes place in the form of three Movers. These things have such ridiculous magic defense that the only two Slot attacks that can one-shot them are either Joker's Death (7-7-7) or Bahamut (3 Silver Dragons). Even if you use the pause trick to manipulate the timing for the slots, most of the time it won't even let you spin the last 7, rolling it over to the diamond even if you manipulate the timing. So I don't find it worth it to try to grind it manually. I found the best way to grind it on auto-battle is to have Setzer use Slot, and have your healer heal the movers so they don't die over time from other Slot attacks. Have the others Reraise the entire party just in case the bad Joker's Death (7-7-BAR) comes up. It took about 15 minutes of grinding during one of these encounters to finally get it, but I got it eventually.
