The right loves to demonize big tech. While there are plenty of critiques of massive technology companies like Google and Facebook that are valid, conservatives don't want structural reform. They just want to make sure their side is favored by the algorithm.

The actual thing I was trying to call about was every time I turn on my favorite platform to watch you guys on I'm inundated with these constant ads against there's a bill 2992. where they're trying to keep certain search engines from dominating and putting all their stuff on top I guess. okay. The attack ads are just like they really come across as disingenuous because Republicans are constantly attacking big Tech. got to get rid of big Tech. but then these ads come across with people who sound like they're from my country. and I really hate the way liberals and the left come out of Kentuckians' mouths. but if it just seems like why would Republicans be against this bill if there gets a big tech. I don't know it's just what's really confusing. yeah, I'm not getting these ads constantly because I'm not the Target demographic for this. well, I don't know I don't you know I don't know the specifics of that bill. the platform itself but so much of this because appreciate the problem. yeah. I appreciate the call. I don't know about the specific law that they're trying to pass in Kentucky. but I can tell you that so much of the right project is to make Boogie Boogie Men Out of the big Tech Without Really addressing the structural aspects of it. it is really just this company's bad. that company's bad. all they're doing is playing the refs. they're not looking to take the big out of tech. they're just looking to force these people to change the algorithms that favor them. That's all that's going on here. they're not looking at the structural problems with big Tech. if they were they would be applauding Joe Biden's you know they just signed an executive order I think to sort of like reiterate the antitrust disposition of this Administration. if you really had a problem with big Tech the first thing you would do is say not only can you not buy up all these different competitors you have to break up a lot of these things. Facebook owns Instagram. buying up its potential competitors. scraping data across different apps and different algorithms. That's where you would start. but instead, it's really just more like they're evil and they're Shadow Banning people. It's absurd.
