Currant Zone 3 - 8
Gooseberry plants require a soil with a pH of 6.2 to 6.5. Your soil should contain at least one percent of organic matter that runs 18 to 24 inches (46-61 cm.) deep
Grape hyacinth Zone 3 - 9
Prefers well-draining, sandy, alkaline soils in full sun, can grow in most soils without issue
Lungwort Zone 3 - 8
When planting lungworts in your garden, keep in mind that these plants do best in shady, moist locations. If planted in full sun, the plant will wilt and appear sickly.
Primrose Zone 4 - 8
Primrose perennials should be planted in lightly shaded areas with well-drained soil
Sweet violet Zone 5 - 9
Both the leaves and flowers (which bloom in late winter and early spring) are also edible and rich in vitamins.
Winter aconite Zone 4 - 7
Small tubers need to be well-protected from harsh winter weather, so plant them about 5 inches (13 cm.) deep from the base of the tuber to the surface of the soil
Wood anemone Zone 3 - 8
Grow wood anemone in a shady woodland garden or where it can border a perennial flower bed, Wood anemone isn’t well-suited for container growing and doesn’t perform well in hot, dry climates.
Alyssum Zone 8
Growing sweet alyssum requires well-drained soil with moderate moisture. The plants are tolerant of many types of soils
