Heather Zone 5 - 7
Be sure to locate plants in full sun and well-drained soil, Water heather once or twice a week If your plant isn’t thriving or your soil is poor, use a light application of fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants, such as azalea, rhododendron, or holly.

Lady’s bedstraw Zone 3 - 8
Can tolerate full sun, Ladys Bedstraw (Lady's Mantle) performs better in shade

Lavender Zone 5 - 9
Lavender needs well-draining soil, preferably slightly sandy and a sunny location. Cannot tolerate humidity and will not perform well in areas that are overly moist

Common mallow Zone 4 - 8
Has no special care requirements It will grow in most soil conditions, though it seems to prefer sandy, dry soil.

Purple toadflax Zone 5 - 9
Toadflax plants establish easily, making their care minimal. Toadflax prefers full sun and grows well in poor, rocky soils. CAN BE INVASIVE

Rock cress Zone 4 - 7
Rock cress prefers full sun, but will tolerate some shade, especially in warmer climates

Sea holly Zone 5 - 10
Will thrive in full sun and moist soil with good drainage, they actually prefer sandy soil. The long taproot, however, allows the plant to tolerate poor soil conditions and drought.

Verbena Zone 7 - 11
Verbena flower is drought resistant, the blooms are improved with regular watering of an inch (2.5 cm.) or so each week. A limited application of complete, slow-release fertilizer is also important to imporve bloom

Wallflower Zone 6 - 9
Grow wallflower plants in a sunny or partly shaded location. When growing wallflowers, make sure to plant them in well-draining soil
