Biden meets his nemesis: leaving a stage unaided

Fresh from delivering a speech which presumably included such notes as ‘don’t forget to breathe’ and ‘continue to not die, this is important,’ Biden tried to exit stage left, and was immediately bewildered what to do the moment he left his notes behind. Walk forward? Leave the stage? Foreign, bewildering concepts. He questioningly pointed at the ground below, as if to say ‘was this always here?’ The compere congratulated Biden, which only confused him into inaction, as if the stage were headlights, and he the deer. Then, midway through being congratulated, he wandered off. The voices are calling him home.

Good job he’s not in charge of anything important.
