Milwaukee County facing $1 billion in deferred maintenance on high-profile landmarks

That estimate was given to us by Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley last Wednesday, explaining, "If we talk about our [Milwaukee County] Parks Department alone, we have a half a billion dollars in deferred maintenance, and in Milwaukee County as a total it's about one billion dollars in deferred maintenance."
