Blind or Forgiving? (Matthew 5:38-42)

Remember, circle back to what came before as you go deeper and the new subjects get a little heavy.

We are, "salt of the earth" and "the light of the world". If we are a light, then we have to shine, that our good deeds might shine out and show The LIGHT, our source, The Light-Of-The-World, JESUS. So, what's that look like? In today's we are adding a bit more of forgiveness and giving to the way our lives should, and will look, as we live with HIM as King and not ourselves.

[Stumbling forward is still forward movement.]

How does our light shine out with HIS glory as the GOD-Who-Sees-To-It when we take the matters into our own hands? How do our lives show that HE can do all things, Going before us, behind us, surrounding us and making us new if we would rather cover our hands in emotional or physical blood by striking with the same anguish that strikes out at us?

We are to resist evil, absolutely, The WORD tells us too, also the truism to life being: The only thing necessary for evil to prosper is for people of good conscious to do nothing. We cannot resist it by becoming it. After all, how many "lesser of two evils" does it take to find something good? Is evil not evil, no lesser or greater; is sin not sin, all weighed as wrong-doing.

To resist we must stand, to do this we must keep in mind at all times, we do not war against flesh and blood but against spirits of the air, principalities, powers; we war against where the evil is coming from, and that isn't the flesh and blood, image-bearing, sibling, it's the spirits and brokenness around them. Love them if you want to break them free.
