When Patrisse Cullors, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter (BLM), was discovered to have declared in a 2015 video that she is a “trained Marxist,” it made sense that her organization’s website for a time included on its “What We Believe” page that, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.” After all, doing just that has been a staple of Karl Marx’s ideology from its inception and an odious feature of the regimes that have ruthlessly adhered to his totalitarian program ever since. That is especially true of Mao Zedong’s Chinese Communist Party – which has connections to BLM via its United Front Work Department entity, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and its splinter group, Liberation Road.Show more
