Different Chains. Different Freedoms. (Matthew 11:1-6)

I know today was a little incendiary. It was intentional. For a good reason:
Let's say you're John. You're in jail. You get treated poorly and you're only there because you called out something that was going wrong. You tried to do the right thing and now it's getting you treated... well like how we often treat our inmates now and the one person who you believe will set it right comes back with an answer of, "Yes, but not how you think." Yes, you're free, but those chains, those beatings, yeah, those you may be stuck with for a bit. Oh, and you're head being served up on a silver platter because of well see Matt 14:1-12. To say the least. John was probably a bit put out. More so when the verses in Isaiah says, "captives set free." (42, 51, 61 Really all over the place)

So in jail, waiting to die, you know the verse that captives are supposed to be set free when the Messiah comes and....

What do you do? The disciples praised because they are/were truly set free. HE has set you free by HIS blood; what shall you do with that freedom? Use it to praise or curse. Use it for hope or despair. Trust or fear. The choice is ours, ain't freewill grand. ^.^ So how will you use yours friend?
