Weakest reed. (Matthew 12:15-21)

This prophecy from Isaiah is 42: 1-4, the entire chapter is about The LORD'S chosen. And here we see HIM, Jesus, healing all the sick among those who come to HIM, not interested in acting like the world but rather behaving as HIS Father's Son. Living like where HE came from. The question is: Will we?

JESUS says it Himself in a few places, that those who are not belonging to God The FATHER are belonging to the enemy, and if that is the case, it is for HIM to sort out for only HE knows what it truly and surly in the heart. So will we live like we are HIS or live like we belong to the enemy of this world and act just like it?

If you're struggling with being in it and not of it, take heart, for weak reeds and candle flicking faith HE will work with, goes right along with HIS 2 Peter promise (3:9) CJB, my emphasis,

The LORD is not slow in keeping HIS promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, HE is patient with you; for it is not HIS purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins.
So turn from the world and turn toward GOD, what repenting is in the first place, not the world's will, not the enemy's will but the perfect will of our ABBA, trust in HIM, HE will set you free and lead you to green places, if you let HIM run the show.
