I've had this many places but when I had it at Bistro Paul Bert in Paris the first time it blew me away! I have made it many times and it'll never be as good but I gotta tell you, it's pretty F'ing delicious and it's easy to make!
You'll need:
Thick quality steaks NY or Filet are best!
heavy whipping cream
Brandy or Cognac
Beef stock
shallot
butter NOT Margarine!
Sea salt & pepper
French fries thin cut!

Serve it on a big plate and totally cover the steak with the sauce! Pile the fries high and enjoy!!!!!!
