Date Night Dinners! Restaurant Style Steak Frites (Steak And Fries) W/ A Gorgeous Bordelaise Sauce

Restaurant quality meals made at home for your special night. Delicious Steak Frites (Steak and Fries) With a gorgeous Bordelaise style sauce.
Recipe:
1/2 Top round Steak (can use 2 NY Strips)
For Bordelaise style sauce:
1 Chopped Shallot
1 tbs. unsalted Butter
2 Cups of beef stock
1/2 cup of Bordeaux wine. (can use Merlot or your favorite red wine)
1/4 teaspoon of Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
and a strainer
For the Steaks:
For the rub: 1/4 teaspoon each of crushed rosemary, coarse salt and black pepper
in the pan:
2 tbs of Olive oil
1 tbs unsalted butter
1 shallot sliced in half
2 cloves of garlic
For the Frites:
1 large russet potato
large bowl to fill and rinse fries and refrigerate
vegetable oil (can use peanut, canola for frying)
In the video sides:
Arugula topped wit garlic infused olive oil, salt to taste
homemade Brioche style rolls topped with butter and garlic powder toasted in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes
