Anti-landing training at ‘Vostok-2022’ drills

Russian forces have completed a training exercise in which they defended against an amphibious assault of the Kuril Islands during the ‘Vostok-2022’ joint drills with China. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, units of the army corps stationed at the Iturup and Kunashir islands were alerted and deployed to the military training grounds to organize anti-airborne defenses with unmanned aircraft and electronic warfare devices.
