Sindicato Cigars isn't a brand with which we're all too familiar with here at CigarScore HQ. Though we've reviewed one of their cigars before, we don't know a lot about the brand itself.

However, today we're reviewing the Sindicato Maduro Toro. It's got a pigtail tip, a foot that's almost closed, and the faint smell of beef jerky. But, upon closer examination, this Sindicato looks like a pretty good cigar, so let's dive in.

After cutting the end with my guillotine cutter, the draw was nearly perfect. However, the cold draw flavors were much lighter than the dark and marbled wrapper would suggest. Once the cigar was lit, the flavors were spicy but good.

Over the first few minutes, the draw was wonderful, the flavors were bold and spicy, and things got off to a delicious start.

Through the middle third, a cigar that started off very strong and quite spicy became much milder. The Sindicato's draw remained perfect, but I didn't love the progression of the flavors.

Final Thoughts

The Sindicato Maduro Toro is just okay. Honestly, the cigar is good, but it's just not that memorable, and that's not really a good thing.

However, the construction of this cigar was really good. The draw was perfect and the burn was mostly even. The only negative in the area of the construction was a tiny stem in the smoking end that bugged me.

If you can get his cigar for around $9, you might enjoy it. If you have to pay more than $10, you might want to explore these cigars instead. That said, at ten bucks, the Sindicato Maduro Toro might be just what you're looking for, so it earns a CigarScore 4.
