Biden labels Trump supporters ‘a threat to this country’

Joe Biden went on the offensive against ‘MAGA extremists’ in a fiery and divisive speech in Philadelphia on Thursday, but his choice of backdrop ended up giving the usual ‘let’s blame everything on Trump’ rhetoric a much more sinister vibe than usual.

Biden was speaking in front of Independence Hall, which had inexplicably been lit up behind him in blood red, when he laid into his political opponents, particularly what he labeled ‘MAGA forces.’

About 24 hours later, however, the US leader backtracked, saying he ’didn't consider any Trump supporters a threat to the country’, when talking to Fox News. ‘You keep trying to make that case’, Biden said.
