Thin Lizzy's beautiful album following 'Jailbreak'. Includes the iconic songs "Don't Believe a Word" (fast version; the original bluesy version would have to wait until Gary Moore's 'Back on the Streets' two years later), "Massacre", and the sizzling "Boogie-Woogie Dance".

H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds put into music by Jeff Wayne. An excellent Funk/Disco output with narrative more-or-less following the original.

This is the first solo album by Phil Lynott of Thin LizzY, released in 1979. The album includes the amazing ‘King’s Call’ with Mark Knopfler on guitar, and the haunting ‘Solo in Soho’ with Snowy White on guitar, but in all honesty those are the only great songs on the album. There are a handful of listenable to good – to some possibly very good - , but the rest are mostly meh.
