Playing favorites. (James 2:1)

Sorry for the cut off, still need to find a way to record longer. I do want to toss out a few things with this. 1. If you are struggling in your walk, this is not condemnation, this is calling a spade a spade. We need to love and when we say we follow, "The God of Love" and then hate "them" we are giving HIM a bad name, and all to often, just like in TaNaK times, HE doesn't do this for our sake, HE does it for HIS name sake. That kinda blends into the point I'm trying to make with this. GOD does not bow at our ways, we follow HIS, because HE is The Living One who makes us come alive. Only The LIVING ONE can do so.
Part of the reason I don't like the word "god" is for the same reason I'm not big on the word "love" neither of them have a lot of meaning alone. The reason I use all three capital letters when I put it is for the same reason The Word does, I'm using HIS name, Yahweh, the one HE gives to Moses to tell of The One Who Sent Him.
I'm just tired of the confusion and misnaming. It's just another way of playing favorites. Picking and choosing the laws that want to be followed. Picking that god loves but ignoring justice, mercy, righteousness, saying that because "God loves us we can hate others." No. That is not The God of Jacob. If you want to dig into it, let's, I'm being serious because the word "god" doesn't mean we are talking about the same person. The ONE I speak of said that, "None get to The Father save through The Son." So if your god has you believe that being a "good person" will get you in, we are not talking about the same being. If your god says it is acceptable to hate another we are not talking about the same being. For YESHUA said Himself, in Matt 5:22, "But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment!" The verse before speaking of murder. So are we talking about the same being? The same person? If we aren't then consider this my debate background coming out, you have to define a thing to discuss it. So we need to discuss what we mean with the word, "god" because I'd argue, from a broken heart, that there isn't much in common between The GOD of The Bible and the one that is followed in the west.
We will continue on more, GOD willing, tomorrow with an example of a church I went to that did this. I will not name the church nor the person that showed up; I will say that it made me realize part of the reason why much of the prayer team and worship team went to different places. Not to speak down, throw coals, or anything else, simply to show that it is a real thing that happens and when it does, we show we aren't as interested in what The LORD has to say and more interest in telling HIM what to do.
