A good deed born of a changed being. (James 2:14-17)

When we act from our brokenness we break. When we act from the places where HE has made us whole we get to be used to heal. We are the clay, HE is the Potter. We are made into a new creation by the work of HIS hand.

I find myself thinking about what work seems to look like, real work seems that which is done to make beauty for others, make things better for others, or to benefit others, trying to do what we can to make it a little easier in a world that is out to kill off any good and any life.
In the age, the time we live, these latter days, that are filled with a sorrow, deeper and filled with anger, broken and agonized that makes it easier to play the game of "get mine" easier to put others down first for sake of fear. Easier to be filled with hate and anger because of the wrongs done and that it is easier to do wrong to those who do wrong and only add to the downward spiral of suffering, contempt, and loathing. It's easier to run into places of darkness when surrounded by it. We are called to be a city on a hill. Shining out with the Light HE puts in us. A light that darkness does not understand and cannot extinguish. It's easier to be the beast that stocks, but when has "easier" been known to be "good", we have the expression, "Anything worth doing takes a minute." in some version or another. So why would being made into a new kind of creation, being made into a kind of first fruit of HIS creatures be any different? Yes HE can do instant miracles, the journey seems more important than the destination. -More so since it's Kingdom Come, not "suffer through till you drop dead and go to the shiny place- That's not in the Bible. It's in broken structures that don't want to fix the issue at hand. We are not made to "just survive" we are made to thrive. A kind of thriving that is deeper and more real than anything the world has to offer, more true than we know and filled with we cannot truly fathom, especially on our own. We are made to thrive in HIM, planted beside still waters and always bearing fruit. Streams of living water pouring into and through us from HIM. If life like this, really living, makes no sense then let's dig into it. I can promise you, you can have what the world calls nothing and have everything, because it's not about what the world can give or can take away it's about intimate relationship with The ONE who makes us alive.
