Free from the dark. (Galatians 4:8-12)

Kinda cheating on verse 12 here: "Dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to live as I do in freedom from these things, for I have become like you Gentiles-free from those laws." Mostly because his letter is to Gentiles, a term without a whole lot of meaning to anyone who doesn't have at least some understanding of Judaism, to at least know what they are. Speaking to the legalism here was on my heart because we need to live free of those chains of legalism. You cannot do anything to win favour with GOD. It's not how that works. You will never be more loved than you are right now. (Which may seem odd to some, I know it confused me a moment, I was directed to see that HIS death in our places, is the greatest form of love. John speaks it true. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down ones life for one's friends. So you are not only loved beyond all understanding. HE calls us friend. (Jn 15:12-13) That love that goes all the deeper (in understanding) as relationships grow. Learning more and new things every dawn, embraced is new mercies.

A bad day doesn't get the final word. GOD does.
