Motocross Helmet Review: LS2 Subverter

After almost 2 years of using this helmet for off road, trail riding, motocross and enduro, I'm giving a long-term review of the LS2 Subverter.
The positive aspects are:
1. Variety of color choices (I like white).
2. Lots of ventilation.
3. Close fitting, not flopping around.
4. Removable liner, helmet is very washable.
5. Safety compliance: MIPS, DOT, ECE rated.
6. Visor does not catch air at higher speed.

The negative aspects are:
1. It's not very light: 2.5 kilos.
2. Air vents are rather small.
3. Low chin guard hits my shoulders sometimes.
4. Internal chassis for padding tends to separate.
5. Light colored padding shows dirt easily.
6. No cut outs for speakers or coms unit.

In summary, after over 50 rides with the LS2 Subverter, I think that it is worth the money I paid and I believe that it is generally a good buy around the $200 price range.

Thanks very much to the generosity of the composer of the music:
