Definitely feeling a bit rusty/weaker; but that tends to happen for me after a break/deload and with my schedule being out of whack, for the past couple of weeks. My neck and upper back area has out of the blue started feeling sore, and a bit funky for the past couple of days, as well. Most likely from the muscles just being a bit tight. It felt better today, so I decided to go for it, and not postpone the session. I think it did inhibit me a bit, as it was difficult to maneuver and push my neck through, during the reps. Despite that though, I am pretty happy with only getting one rep less than my previous best, given the aforementioned factors, and not being peaked. I was not planning on going for a PR today anyway, and was aiming for 7-8 reps. I think I could have maybe pushed out an 8th rep for an absolute grinder, but I didn't think it would be worth the extra energy expenditure. So as far as I am concerned, I am satisfied.
