Day 7 of New Zealand Anti-mandate Protest at Parliament | Thousands Show Up!

Day 7 of the New Zealand Anti-mandate Protest at Parliament in Wellington. The protest is growing in size with perhaps ten thousand or more people showing up.

The people continue to camp at the parliament grounds and have expanded to occupy more lawn and street space. Some protesters now camp at the Victoria University Law School. Speaker of the House, Trevor Mallard having ordered sprinklers turned on during the rainy weather over the weekend, increased his efforts to deter protestors by playing music known for being unpopular and annoying on loud speakers. Despite his efforts, the protestors grow in number.

The prime minister Jacinda Adern, her politicians from the government and those in the opposition continue to ignore the people and do not speak with them. Day 7 was again a peaceful day, with no violence or arrests by the police.

Filmed between 12pm & 1pm on February 14, 2022.

The speech at the beginning was by Adam Chalmers - https://youtube.com/channel/UCyxpVOIn-He2TKPUYCWekCQ.
