A terrified truck driver traveling on a a wet highway managed to leap out of his upside-down vehicle moments before it toppled over and fell off an overpass in Pasadena, Texas.

Horrifying footage shows the driver's truck buckle and fall from the side of the road after it collided with another vehicle on August 18, but luckily no major injuries occurred from the incident according to authorities.
The doomed truck was operated by Specialized Maintenance Services Inc. and was hydroplaning when it clipped the front of a Budweiser truck.
The official indicated it was unclear whether the driver purposefully leaped from the truck or was ejected from the cabin as the truck began rolling.

The video happed to be captured by driver Prisco Saldivar on a dash-cam as he drove on the opposite side of State Highway 225.

'It was like something you would only ever see in a movie,' Saldivar said.

The first glimpse of the truck in the video shows it nearly flipped completely upside-down while still skidding down the highway.

The truck then catches the side of the raised highway's barrier, which drags the massive rig over the side.

As the truck begins to fall off the edge and disappear from view, the driver courageously leaps from the drivers seat and lands on the highway.

The vehicle falls from the edge and onto a service road below, and video captured from that road shows the truck lying totaled on its side.

Police vehicles are shown surrounding the total truck as hail continues to fall.

The crash comes after a similar incident took the life of a 22-month old boy, who was crushed after a concrete-mixer truck fell from a highway and landed on an SUV below.

That tragic crash occurred on August 5 on the East Beltway in Texas. Three others survived the crash, including the deceased boy's twin sister.
