Welding and fixing forklift with bale spear

I have a forklift that I had added a bale spear to the top of the unit. The metal was not as thick as I thought it was, so after using it this year to move 5x5 bales of hay it broke. So I cut out the section that broke, or was squashed, and then started adding metal to the section. This way I could reattach the bale spear holder and again use it as a front loader bale carrier.
