Johnny Grube using straps to carry 110 lbs for 400 yards which might
be a personal best in less than 5
minutes.
It's a very underrated exercise. When men talk about farmer strength, country strength or blue collar strength it's built through carrying
and gripping, not squatting or
bench pressing.
A lot of gym guys talk about shoulder carrying sandbags for distance less than 1/4 mile try carrying and using you grip strength and a weight that needs to be controlled for 1/4 mile.
